Bohdan Drozdowskij, Project Team Leader, Institutional Development Expert

Born 1949 in the UK, Bohdan Drozdowskij is the leading project management expert with vast managerial experience working for numerous UK institutions.

Bohdan Drozdowskij received a grammar school education and went on to study Production Engineering at Birmingham University, gaining a BSc Honours degree. Following postgraduate study in Operational Research at Brunel University, Bohdan took up a research position in Systems Management at the Open University, developing gaming and computer simulation models of economic systems. He then joined the UK banking industry working his way up through a variety of operational positions, culminating as Operations Director of Anglo Leasing. In the early 90’s Bohdan went on to form his own consultancy business providing strategic and operational services to the UK finance industry.

For the past 16 years, Bohdan has specialised in the management and coordination of complex technical assistance project in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. He has worked in Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Russia and considerably in Ukraine. In the last nine years he has managed institution building and policy projects in the Rural sector.

He is responsible for coordinating a complex project “Implementation of Ukraine's Commitments under WTO and ENP Frameworks in the Rural Sector (Sector-Wide Approach)" and is the key expert for Institutional Development component for the main beneficiary of this Project – the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
